Hello, I’m Cam.

Forest Park House is a century+ home in a tree-covered neighborhood that skirts the bustle of downtown Raleigh.   It is a passion project, not a get-rich Airbnb gig. It combines my lifelong love of travel, the joy of nesting at home, and the responsibility of being a steward of old houses. It harkens back to the early days of Airbnb, when guests were greeted with handwritten notes, snacks were offered, and extra towels weren't locked away. It was those times when hosts were actively involved in curating the experience — eager to share their beloved hometowns, yet discreetly allowing guests to enjoy their stay uninterrupted. I miss those days, so this is the experience I strive to provide.  I believe I'm doing it well.

 

I've brought together years of professional experience in product design and a great house. With the help of a talented team of interior designers, builders, installers, housekeepers, and landscapers, Forest Park House welcomes both travelers and locals alike. We present an undeniably old home (cheers for squeaky floors!) that has been upgraded to modern expectations.  The reviews speak for themselves, and our placement in the top percentage of worldwide Airbnbs confirms the numbers tell the same story.
